We first conducted a session on this topic at EVAB 2024, in an effort to provide an overview of the end-to-end process for how each OEM handles EV batteries within their networks. While some OEMs primarily outsource these efforts, others handle entirely in-house – OEMs in both camps are weighing the pros and cons of each approach and considering making changes. This session is a continuation of this conversation, focusing on any updates since the 2024 conference and what the future holds for each OEM.
