One of the most critical components of an OEM’s ability to service EVs is having enough qualified technicians to work on them. However, from our ATS, we see that today’s technicians tend to be apprehensive about the future of EVs and the impact on their career – with some concerns around safety, impact on earnings, overall nature of the work changing, and more. In this session, we’ll take a holistic look at strategies for preparing the technician workforce for EVs, focusing on how OEMs are addressing their technicians’ concerns and what everyone has envisioned for the future as the EV population grows.
