One of the problem spots on our Automotive Parts Manager Survey (APMS) this year was EV parts support that OEMs provide to dealers. The survey let us know that there is a problem, but doesn’t tell us precisely what the problem is or what the solution looks like. This session will examine OEM EV parts support by interviewing dealers. We will cover multiple parts support topics such as the contact center, parts technical support, available documentation, and other areas that dealers bring to our attention. OEMs must provide dealers who are willing to be interviewed, and we will require some minimal support from OEMs to ensure dealers book and attend interviews.
